My mom got me started when a was young buying me a pretty dress. She always wanted a girl and when my father left us, I became her daughter. I will never forget the experience. She had taken me to see a movie and afterwards, asked if I wanted to go shopping. I said sure, I loved to go to the mall as I knew eventually we would wind up at the food court where I always would go for the pizza. We started at Macy's and my mother guided me over to the girls department. She was looking through the dresses when she took off the rack a beautiful red velvet dress with lace on the hem, sleeves and bodice. She held it up to me and said you know you would look so pretty in this dress. At that time I had very long hair and was often mistaken for a girl. The sales girl came up behind us and and said that would look very pretty on your daughter, would you like to try it on. I could not hide my embarrasment, I turned bright red. My mom said yes she would and ushered me into the dressing room. She ******** me down to my underwear and pullled the dress on over my head. I must admit I loved the way the velvet felt against my skin and when I looked in the mirror, I could not believe my eyes. Of course my mom bought me the dress and when we got home, gave me a bubble bath, did my nails, curled my hair and put me into my new dress. From that day forward, I have loved dressing up. I have an extensive collection of beautiful clothes, tons of heels, makeup, etc. I am lucky now to be able to dress full time as a woman. I attend beauty school and the girls and instructors now treat me as "just one of the girls."
